Superintendent’s Message - ACLU - 10/21/2011
The ACLU lawsuit focuses on fees for activities and programs at the schools. The District will comply with the law, but has no intention of harming any of the programs at the schools. Fund raising and donations will continue to go on. We just need to be cognizant of the fact that there is a fine line between what is legal and what is illegal. We will continue to work with the schools and booster groups so that can do their fundraising activities and still be compliant with the law.
