The Educational Technology & Media Center (ETMC) department is responsible for the effective and efficient integration of appropriate technologies into the learning environment of both students and professionals. These functions include:
Coordination and development of reusable, online courses and course content;
Development and implementation of effective teaching practices integrating technology and aligned with both content and national education technology standards for teachers, students and administrators;
Support of district-wide learning technologies;
Research, development, implementation and continual improvement involving developing trends in learning technology to provide students with superior skills to become global citizens and 21st-Century learners;
Development and monitoring of the District Education Technology Master Plan with respect to implementation and alignment with current national and State standards:
